multitail software package provides view multiple logfiles windowed on console, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install multitail
multitail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the multitail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep multitail *
You will get with multitail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
